Typical Physical Demands

Typical Working Conditions
- Work in a clinical office environment with frequent patient contact.
Principal Duties
- Assist the physician with patient care.
- Assist patients with physical disabilities.
- Suggest and demonstrate proper body postures and muscle movements in corporate settings to prevent disorders like carpal tunnel syndrome.
- Ensure that day-to-day clinical operations are conducted professionally and efficiently.
- Schedule and precertify tests.
- Draw up injections and mark superbills correctly for services provided.
- Answer medically related questions from incoming patient calls, coaches, and other physicians.
- Show strong leadership abilities with a significant focus on interpersonal skills with prospective patients and colleagues.
- Schedule and answer questions regarding patient appointments.
- Prepare clinic charts and actively participate in improving overall office performance.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Adhere to policies and procedures.
- Perform any other functions deemed necessary and appropriate by management.
