Medical Assistant (40 hrs/Temple Faculty Physicians Gen Surgery)

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care and performs job-specific tasks under the direct supervision of a physician or other licensed medical provider.
• Performs activities necessary to provide for the personal needs, comfort, and safety of patients and their families.
• Engages in clinical, environmental, and administrative duties in designated areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program
• 1 Year Experience As An Outpatient/Ambulatory Medical Assistant
• Prior experience preferred
• General experience with EPIC EMR
• Licenses/Certifications: Clinician Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant
• Basic Life Support
