About the Role

This position involves providing patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient medical practice. The medical assistant performs a range of duties including patient intake, triage, assisting with direct patient care, and routine medical procedures under established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Obtain patient histories and update medical records.
• Perform routine procedures such as EKGs, immunizations, ear lavage, sterile dressing changes, nebulizer treatments, and suture removal.
• Call patients with test results and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms.
• Practice safety and infection control protocols.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with healthcare regulations.
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent clinical training preferred.
• Ability to greet patients professionally, establish effective relationships, and manage time efficiently.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
