We are seeking an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric care at our three Eating Disorder Outpatient Programs. This role delivers direct clinical services for a variety of psychiatric conditions in an outpatient setting, with a focus on patients who may also have substance use disorders.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate scheduled patients, collecting psychiatric, medical, social, and family history; perform mental status exams; diagnose; and devise treatment recommendations.
- Establish rapport with patients and their support systems to facilitate shared decision-making and treatment acceptance.
- Prescribe and implement treatment, including medications, within the ARNP’s scope of practice.
- Complete and code patient records accurately and timely—same day or within one week of service—following ethical and legal billing standards.
- Maintain 80% productivity based on CPT code time elements, with additional time allotted for initial evaluations per utilization policy.
- Coordinate vacation coverage and medication refills with other medical services.
- Collaborate with internal and external clinicians, administrative staff, and management to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Occasionally engage off-hours to support necessary medication coverage (e.g., refills).

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Care, or a related field.
- Active Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice.
- Proficient understanding of TMS treatment protocols.
- Ability to engage patients in therapy or a willingness to learn.
- Experience using electronic medical records.
Physical Demands
- Engage in sustained power grasping, pushing, and pulling motions.
- Exposure to dust, gas, odors, liquids, or fumes.
- Intermittent lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, transporting objects by hand, arm, or shoulder.
- Hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills for tasks such as seizing, holding, and grasping.
- Ability to lift objects by raising or lowering them between levels.
- Quick response to emergency situations, which may involve running or rapid movement.
- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods, often throughout the entire shift.
- Potential exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and hazardous materials, requiring adherence to safety and PPE protocols.
Pay
$70.00 to $85.00 per hour.
This is a 1099 Contractor role performed on-site. Candidates must agree to and sign a pre-employment arbitration agreement, resolving any employment-related disputes through binding arbitration rather than litigation.
