About the role

The Hematology Oncology Account Specialist engages Hematologists and other key Oncology customers within a defined geographic region, supporting the launch of our Multiple Myeloma product. This role focuses on building and growing revenue through clinically focused selling messages.

Responsibilities

  • Engage Hematologists and other key Oncology customers and deliver clinically focused selling messages to support our Multiple Myeloma bispecific antibody.
  • Facilitate partnerships with multiple collaboration partners including Regional Directors, Nurse Educators, Key Account Managers, and Reimbursement Specialists to proactively resolve customer needs and develop strategies.
  • Develop strong working relationships with aligned designated accounts and specialists.
  • Execute market profiling activities to ensure a deep understanding of regional and local health care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities with assigned accounts and lead appropriate coordination of effort by the Regeneron Oncology account team.
  • Demonstrate dedication to compliance through understanding regulations and policies that govern customer interactions and ensuring compliance with them.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree; Master's degree or additional advanced education/certifications a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years successful experience in Oncology sales, Hematology Oncology preferred.
  • Buy and bill experience with biologics required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with key thought leaders or high influence customers in group practices, academic hospitals, key institutions.
  • Strong understanding of the Hematology Oncology therapeutic area and the current Oncology marketplace.
  • Ability to represent peers as a leader, collaborate with and coordinate activity among individuals in different reporting structures within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven advanced clinically based and account-based selling skills.
  • Success and positive consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments operating with a high degree of integrity within compliance guidelines.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of success with product launches.
  • Strong account management with analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.

Skills

  • Strong clinical knowledge of Hematology and Oncology.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
