NTT DATA is seeking a Medicaid Eligibility Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role will work directly with the client’s operations staff to assist with ongoing system enhancement work, including participation in definition, design, testing, and implementation of changes across system releases.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Member Services team to improve operational efficiency and enhance system quality.
  • Support the Member Services Partner Support team with onboarding, administrative tasks, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Assist the Member Services Member communication team with daily notice review, issue research, data fixes, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Identify operational impacts of proposed system changes and recommend workflow modifications.
  • Participate in requirements definition, design, business workflow development, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Engage in implementation planning and execution, including operational readiness tests, parallel tests, and beta tests.
  • Develop and execute Eligibility Business Operations Test Cases for each system release.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Testing Management Office (eTMO) to maintain testing standards and processes.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in health and human services eligibility determination.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience interpreting complex eligibility determination rules, policy, and processes.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience conducting meetings and making presentations.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ business experience working on large, complex system implementation and/or enhancement projects.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience interacting with vendors and third parties to meet commitments and milestones.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s testing experience.
  • Ability to travel to Nashville, Tennessee, as requested.

Pay

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. The starting pay range for this position is $72,832 - $170,700, depending on the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
