We are seeking professionals who can turn Medicaid and healthcare data into useful insights and practical recommendations. About The Role The Medicaid Data & Analytics Specialist will support analysis of program performance, utilization, costs, access, quality, eligibility, or enrollment. We welcome data analysts, healthcare analysts, researchers, statisticians, informatics professionals, and experienced Medicaid reporting specialists. Technical requirements will vary by opportunity. Responsibilities Analyze Medicaid claims, encounter, enrollment, eligibility, provider, or program dataAssess utilization, expenditures, access to care, and program outcomesClean, validate, and document datasetsDevelop performance measures, dashboards, and recurring reportsIdentify trends, data quality issues, and opportunities for improvementSupport program evaluation and operational analysisExplain analytical methods, assumptions, and limitationsPresent findings clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholdersFollow applicable privacy, security, and data-handling requirements Requirements Qualifications Experience analyzing Medicaid or closely related healthcare dataStrong analytical skills and attention to data qualityProficiency with relevant tools such as Excel, SQL, SAS, R, Python, Power BI, or Tableau; proficiency in every tool is not requiredAbility to communicate findings clearly and connect them to program decisionsExperience documenting analytical work so others can understand and review it Preferred Experience Medicaid claims or encounter data analysisState Medicaid agency or managed care reportingQuality measurement, cost analysis, risk adjustment, or program evaluationLarge healthcare datasets and secure analytical environmentsFamiliarity with T-MSIS or other Medicaid data sources Benefits Opportunity Details We welcome candidates interested in full-time employment or project-based engagements.
