Medicaid Account Specialist

The Impact You Will Have

The Account Support Specialist, within the Medicaid Performance Hub, serves as an operational anchor for the Medicaid organization, driving predictable execution, performance visibility, regulatory compliance, and delivery on contractual commitments. The role supports deliberate planning, year-over-year performance expectations, and predictable RFP and pursuit cycle execution across the business.

You educate the enterprise on contract requirements, operational readiness, and implementation processes, while partnering closely with Compliance to maintain alignment with regulatory expectations. Your work ensures effective member and stakeholder outcomes, operational accuracy, and proactive risk management supporting Medicaid P&L performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Provides ongoing operational and administrative support to Medicaid client accounts throughout the contract lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Coordinates end-to-end RFP activities and maintain readiness materials, content, and data required for successful proposal submissions
  • Supports contract implementation, benefit changes, negotiations, and contract modifications to ensure timely and accurate execution of agreements
  • Logging and managing contract related change requests, including pricing updates, product changes, regulatory impacts, and organizational restructuring
  • Coincating DHS and regulatory reporting activities, ensuring data quality, required attestations, and timely submission of deliverables
  • Maintaining Medicaid account data, reporting repositories, and program resources to support audit readiness, operational consistency, and stakeholder access to information
  • Coincating internal and external stakeholders to support Medicaid account execution, issue resolution, and achievement of business objectives
  • Contributing to Medicaid and enterprise education and onboarding efforts to clarify Medicaid programs and contract requirements

How You’ll Do It

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of related Medicaid professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a degree, an additional two years of relevant experience beyond the qualifications listed above may be accepted

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of government healthcare programs, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of health plan operations, products, and business practices
  • Experience improving processes, workflows, or operational performance
  • Ability to tailor communication to varied audiences, actively listen to uncover requirements, and ensure accurate and timely information exchange
  • Ability to analyze information, identify patterns and root causes, and collaborate with partners to implement practical solutions
  • Ability to effectively organize work, balance competing priorities, and manage time across multiple responsibilities and deadlines

Compensation And Benefits

Pay Range: $68,900.00 - $91,300.00 - $113,700.00 Annual Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
