About the role
Oversee the Photographer and Videographer while developing daily slideshows and weekly videos for each camp week, and managing the soundboard. This seasonal position runs from May 24, 2026 to August 15, 2026 and requires living on-site.
Responsibilities
- Support the Photographer and Videographer by helping capture and edit images and film
- Organize the distribution of labor among the Media Team in an efficient manner
- Schedule a media team member for sound booth in morning and evening chapel
- Produce weekly camper videos and DVDs
- Produce the staff compilation video
- Upload productions online daily
- Work with the Camp Director, Assistant Camp Director, and Director of Administration to identify high-impact projects
- Use Mac OS X and Final Cut Pro X
- Operate provided digital video cameras and organize digital files
- Model the values of Camp Lurecrest Ministries both on and off the job
Requirements
- At least one full year out of high school with relevant experience
- Professing Christian committed to the mission and vision of Camp Lurecrest Ministries
- Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
- Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
- Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training Program
Qualifications
- Experience using a digital camera and videocamera
- Proficient with Mac OS X, Final Cut Pro X, Microsoft PowerPoint, and digital file management
- Ability to filter and process film with campers and parents in mind
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Able to complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
- Grace under pressure in high-stress situations
- Willing to perform hands-on tasks and invest in campers
