MEDIA SPECIALIST ELEMENTARY

About the role

The MEDIA SPECIALIST ELEMENTARY position at Palm Bay Elementary School is available for the 2027 school year starting on August 3rd, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement media programs that support the curriculum and enhance student learning.
• Manage and maintain audiovisual equipment and ensure its proper operation.
• Provide technical support to teachers and students in the use of multimedia resources.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology into classroom instruction.
• Assist in the development and implementation of media literacy initiatives.

Requirements

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Required: Certified by the state of Florida as an Educational Media Specialist.
• Required: Valid State Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary school students is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
