Media Specialist
Job Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual illustrations and digital artwork.
- Create, modify, and import graphics, illustrations, photographs, models, and animations using industry-standard media applications.
- Develop or convert graphics from photographs and video to create virtual-world visual experiences.
- Design and develop 3D models and environments.
- Create 2D and 3D animations and motion graphics supporting training and learning solutions.
- Design webpage layouts and supporting visual content.
- Capture photographs for use in digital media products.
- Conceptualize, direct, capture, and edit desktop video and full-motion digital video.
- Develop multimedia products utilizing multiple delivery methodologies.
Minimum Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Art, Graphic Design, Fine Art, Design Art, Computer Science, Computer Graphic Design, or Computer Graphics and four (4) years of experience in media production.
- In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an associate's degree and an additional two (2) years of experience (six (6) years total) may be substituted.
- In lieu of a bachelor's or associate's degree, eight (8) years of experience in media production may be substituted.
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, 3D Studio Max, Maya, or similar media applications.
Job Location
Primary Work Location: Four (4) days per week in Annapolis Junction, Maryland and one (1) day per week in Linthicum, Maryland.
