About the role

Aquila Technology is seeking a Media Production Specialist to support one of the nation’s premier defense research organizations. The role involves creating multimedia content for training, documentation, and communications, collaborating with teams to produce videos, graphics, websites, and other digital media.

Responsibilities

  • Create training materials in various media formats
  • Identify training needs and priorities
  • Work closely with the engineering and fabrication community to develop outreach programs
  • Collaborate with the design, process, and end-user SMEs to validate content development
  • Consult with program teams as needed for feedback
  • Maintain training documents, training data, and environment
  • Support the user community to ensure the tools are being used effectively
  • Develop and maintain communication channels with PLM users and development team
  • Feed back user comments and ideas to the development team
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of support required by users for a primary functional area and provide support for other functional business areas
  • Stay abreast of and share system best practices and feature enhancements to promote continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of applicable work experience
  • Experience creating training materials on Aras Innovator software
  • Experience working within prototyping environments
  • Strong understanding of engineering workflows
  • Experience in software implementation and operational support
  • Ensures training requirements are met by monitoring available metrics and collecting feedback
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office 365 to include SharePoint organization and site design
  • Excellent presentation and meeting facilitation skills
  • Experience developing and presenting training or technical briefings to various audiences
  • Self-starter / self-motivated, capable of staying on track and pursuing solutions without supervision
  • Training or customer demonstration experience (preferable PLM or ERP specifically)
  • Has a flexible approach to change, is able to work effectively in a variety of situations, constantly seeks improvements and is forward looking
  • Skills in building consensus among stakeholders and colleagues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines is a plus: Information Systems Management, Communications, Engineering Management, Business Administration, Engineering related field
  • Experience in design, engineering, or manufacturing environment
  • Use of standard business tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Office Suite, Wikis

  • Buy Your Own Device (BYOD) – Team members are eligible for reimbursement of up to $1,500 every three (3) years for the purchase of electronic equipment used to access corporate services. To qualify for this benefit, employees must have completed a minimum of six (6) months of employment and must agree to and sign the Device Minimum Configuration Form prior to reimbursement.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
