We are looking for an experienced cross-channel media leader who will develop, present, and oversee integrated media strategies for complex global B2B organizations. The Media Director serves as a strategic advisor to clients, leads media planning excellence across a portfolio of accounts, mentors team members, and helps shape the future direction of TMP's media capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Media Strategy and Planning
- Lead the development of integrated cross-channel media strategies for complex global B2B clients.
- Provide executive-level recommendations that connect media investment to business outcomes.
- Oversee optimization of media programs and ensure strategic adjustments are implemented based on performance.
- Partner with Strategy, Creative, Analytics, and Client Services to develop integrated client solutions.
- Own media measurement frameworks that connect channel performance to pipeline, revenue, and business impact.
- Client Leadership
- Serve as the senior media lead and strategic advisor for assigned clients.
- Build trusted relationships with senior marketing, revenue, and business stakeholders.
- Lead executive presentations, performance reviews, and strategic planning discussions.
- Guide clients through investment decisions, trade-offs, and performance challenges.
- Commercial Growth
- Identify opportunities for account growth through expanded media solutions and integrated programs.
- Support new business opportunities, pitches, and strategic media recommendations.
- Partner with Client Services and leadership on account planning and revenue forecasting.
- Media Leadership & Capability Development
- Mentor and coach Media Supervisors, Planners, and Specialists.
- Develop planning frameworks, POVs, and best practices for the agency.
- Help shape the future direction of media capabilities, partnerships, and service offerings.
- Foster collaboration across media, creative, analytics, and strategy teams.
Requirements
Who you are:
- At least 8 years of experience in the field of media, agency experience preferred.
- A seasoned professional with demonstrated skill sets for client interaction and communication; able to manage client requests with sound rationale.
- Proven ability to synthesize data & results, identify trends & key findings, and fuel content strategies.
- Previous managerial experience with solid ability to lead, inspire, and rally a team.
- Experience working collaboratively with internal and external agency partners to set a clear vision and foster strong collaboration and partnership.
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve challenges in a client-centric environment.
What you will need:
- B2B marketing experience, preferably within an agency setting.
- Strong track record of developing and overseeing cross-channel media strategies.
- Strong commercial understanding, with experience managing media budgets and making strategic investment and optimization decisions.
- Ability to use data, measurement, and insights to demonstrate media performance and business impact.
- Confidence presenting media strategies, recommendations, and performance to senior client stakeholders.
- Evidence of working with cross-discipline teams (strategy, creative, technology, media, and project management).

Pay
Salary range: $115,000 - $130,000
