Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary strategic media partner to the account leads, driving agile decision-making and rapid pivots in a high-velocity environment.
- Design and oversee sophisticated, integrated media plans that seamlessly blend digital (Social, Search, Programmatic, Video) with traditional media, influencer marketing, and sports sponsorships.
- Act as a player-coach. While you will lead a team, you aren't afraid to log into platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.) to troubleshoot, audit, or help your team optimize performance when the heat is on.
- Elevate existing frameworks, ensuring that all of our planning, execution, and tracking align with brand architecture and high-performance standards.
- Work closely with creative, analytics, and account teams to develop well-rounded and successful campaigns.
- Directly manage, coach, and build accountability structures for a team of media planners and buyers, ensuring everyone is rowing in the same direction.
- Manage complex budgets, forecast outcomes against strict client objectives, and translate dense analytical data into clear, compelling stories for clients.
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years in planning and buying integrated paid media strategies
- 3+ years of experience directly managing and developing high-performing teams
- Deep expertise crafting strategies that span the entire funnel - from high-impact awareness (traditional/sponsorships) to granular performance media (digital/programmatic).
- Strong familiarity (and recency) with UI/UX of major ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, TikTok, etc.), with an understanding of how the mechanics work inside the dashboard.
- Experience with influencer marketing and sports sponsorships - everything from channel mix, budget recommendations and forecasting outcomes against client objectives.
- A proven track record of managing fast-moving accounts (e.g., tourism, entertainment, tech, or retail) where priorities shift quickly and real-time optimization is expected.
- Comfort managing large budgets, navigating financial reporting, and tying media metrics directly to client business growth.
Perks, Salary & Benefits
- The salary range for this position is $125,000 - 140,000 USD. This is a good-faith estimate of the base pay scale for this position and any potential offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process.
