About the role
The Video & Multimedia Specialist role is responsible for planning, filming and editing videos to be used for a variety of projects such as internal communication, marketing, and promoting for a wide variety of subjects. This position encompasses several varied activities, including:
- Coordinating pre-production tasks with the project team
- Filming videos on set or on location
- Editing and finalizing collected footage
- Enhancing video content with motion graphics, music, SFX, etc.
- Collecting, editing, organizing and maintaining our asset libraries
- Promoting and maintaining our brand identity
- Project pursuit & active project support efforts
- Internal projects and support
- Project documentation
Responsibilities
- Profiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects & Photoshop (Adobe Creative Suite proficiency preferred)
- Profiency with camera equipment (DSLRs, Stabilization, Audio & Lighting)
- Excellent computer literacy (Windows Platform and Microsoft O365 Applications)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Film & Media Studies (or a related field)
Qualifications
- Profiency with Adobe Premiere Pro
- Variety of technical skills required for creating video
Skills
- Knowledge and experience in both filming and editing digital media
- Experience in photography, videography and graphic design preferred
