Med-Trans Helicopter Pilot - HAA - Located in Yuma, AZ

About the role

Located in Yuma, AZ, this full‑time Helicopter Pilot position provides medical air transportation services for Med‑Trans customers, working with medical experts to ensure safe patient transport while maintaining aircraft readiness and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med‑Trans requirements, and perform aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med‑Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med‑Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Hours Night Unaided, or 50 Hours Unaided with 100 Hours Aided

Preferred Qualifications

• 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours Preferred, including 50 in Aircraft
• EC130 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher

Pay

• Base salary range: $99,410 – $109,351 (includes 12% Geographic Modifier)
• $15,000 Sign‑on Bonus (subject to eligibility)
• Retention Bonus Plans: $40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses upon completion
