Med-Trans Helicopter Pilot - HAA - Located in Childress, TX

Location: Childress, TX – Full‑time Helicopter Pilot providing medical air transportation services for Med‑Trans.

Compensation

• Pilot incentives: $109,174 – $117,791 (including 23% geographic modifier)
• $15,000 sign‑on bonus (subject to eligibility)
• Retention bonus: $40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses thereafter
• On‑duty housing provided

Schedule

7/7 continuous schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, complying with all FAR and Med‑Trans requirements and maintaining aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate Med‑Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift‑change information to the successive pilot and team, following protocol for recording Med‑Trans change‑board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter pilot‑in‑command (PIC) hours.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• 200 helicopter night‑flight hours (aided or unaided).

Preferred Qualifications

• B407 aircraft experience.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or higher.
