Med Tech/Caregiver in Assisted Living
About the role
Med Techs/Caregivers at Carmel Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL’s) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL's)

- Follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership
- Comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation
- Incorporate the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions with others
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred, but not required
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient

Schedule
Part-time in Assisted Living, available to work 6:00 am - 2:00 pm AND/OR 2:00 pm - 10:00 (Shifts will vary)8-Hour Shifts
Back-up Caregiver Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred, but not required
