Med Tech/Caregiver (3rd Shift)

About the role

The Med Tech/Caregiver at The Carnegie meets the needs of community residents by providing assistance with activities of daily living. Responsibilities include monitoring residents' well-being, assisting with daily tasks, and maintaining resident confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' well-being and report any changes in condition promptly
• Assist with simple requests and find appropriate associates to assist
• Learn and document resident preferences for exceptional customer service
• Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation, and other activities of daily living
• Provide companionship, encourage self-care, and maintain resident privacy
• Respond to emergencies and document care provided
• Help residents with assistive devices and encourage wellness programming
• Maintain community common areas and residents' rooms
• Support resident-centered wellness programs and special events
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Support the team and adhere to company standards

Requirements

• Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
• First Aid certification and CPR, if required
• Basic competency in using Microsoft Office applications and other technology
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
