About the role
We are seeking a Med Tech / Certified Medication Aide to join our team, providing resident care and support in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring residents' health and well-being through assessments and personalized service plans
- Administering and assisting with medication management
- Communicating with support services and families to ensure quality care
- Supporting clinical quality assurance and documenting care activities
- Assisting with resident care tasks, including obtaining vital signs and weights
- Notifying supervisors of changes in residents' medication or service needs that impact care levels
Requirements
- Certified Medication Aide or meeting state requirements for medication aides
- At least one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals (preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Knowledge of assisted living, dementia care, or skilled nursing (preferred)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and various hours to meet residents' needs
