Med Tech
Shifts available: Day full-time, Evening full-time, PRN. HCA, CNA, or NAC certification required for hire. Brighton Court will pay all fees for HCA certification, including application and test fees.
About the role
Working out of our Community Based Care facility, the Med Tech is responsible for administering medications to our residents in accordance with the established policies and procedures as directed by the supervisor. Sapphire will provide the training and resources to keep our employees engaged and maintain top quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services
- Administer medications as ordered and in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policies and procedures
- Seek licensed staff assistance as needed
- Follow the plan of care and chart all appropriate documentation
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Communicate both orally and written with staff, residents, family members, etc.
- Foster a supportive, compassionate environment for our residents and their families
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- NAC, CNA, or NAR or HCA required
- Must be 18 years of age
