The Med Tech responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring residents, and providing basic care under licensed nurse supervision, focusing on accuracy, resident safety, documentation, and maintaining medication supplies, often requiring certification like CMA/CMT.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, monitoring residents, and providing basic care under licensed nurse supervision
• Focus on accuracy, resident safety, documentation, and maintaining medication supplies
• Prepare and pass drugs following the "5 Rights"
• Check vitals and observe for side effects
• Record administration and manage medication carts
• Assist with personal care like bathing, grooming, and feeding

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Active CNA license and CNA Med Tech certification
