Avista Senior Living is expanding throughout Arizona and is currently looking for Caregivers or Med Techs to join our team at our community in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities

• Read and implement care/activities of daily living (ADLs) according to the resident service plan.
• Respond to resident needs, pendant calls, and other community alarms in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate empathy and develop caring rapport with residents. Promote resident independence and self-care.
• Deliver care and services in accordance with individual service plans for all assigned residents.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of care delivered.
• Complete incident reports accurately and timely.
• Understand policies pertaining to safety and infection control and demonstrate practices to control the spread of communicable illnesses.
• Promote a clean, orderly, and safe environment. Assist housekeeping and maintenance staff to keep the community and resident property clean.
• Recognize, respond to, and report concerns in resident's environment to ensure safety and comfort of residents.

Requirements

• AZ Caregiver certification.
• Proven experience as a personal care assistant, minimum of 1 year experience.
• Committed to health & safety.
• Reliable with excellent communication and people skills.
• A positive and compassionate attitude.
• Physical stamina.
• CPR certified, fingerprint card.
