About the role

The Medication Technician position at Hillside in McMinnville, OR, is a critical role under general Nursing supervision. This position functions and evaluates the medical and emergency needs of residents in various living environments, identifying and monitoring health problems.

Responsibilities

• Works 100% of time on this position, focusing on promoting and maintaining the health and safety of residents.
• Schedules available from 6am-2pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
• Pay range: $21+ per hour, base pay, depending on experience.
• Shift differentials: Weekday NOC $1, Weekend Day/Eve $2, Weekend NOC $3.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of experience passing medications.
• Current Med Tech certification is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Prior nursing experience in senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.
