Med Surg RN - Hourly Rate

Role Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg. The nurse provides direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care.
• Administer medications safely and timely.
• Support hospital emergency protocols and respond to incident command roles as needed.
• Maintain adherence to safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's or Master's preferred.
• Current licensure, certifications (AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP if applicable).
• Preferred recent experience in acute care settings.
