Med Surg Registered Nurse - Per Diem

Role Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg, responsible for providing direct clinical care, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement patient care
• Coordinate within medical regimes
• Administer medications safely
• Support hospital emergency protocols
• Support clinical staff competency
• Contribute to quality improvement, risk management, and infection control
• Respond effectively to emergency codes
• Participate in hospital emergency responses

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's or Master's preferred
• Recent acute care experience is preferred
• Must hold current licensure
• Certifications such as AHA BLS, and possibly ACLS, PALS, or NRP

Schedule

Night shift, per diem staffing.
