Med Surg Float Pool- Dual role-Certified Nursing Assistant/Unit Coordinator 32 hr nights (11pm - 7am)
About the role
The Certified Nursing Assistant/Unit Coordinator (CNA/UC) performs duties of direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the RN/LPN and as a member of the unit-based patient care team.
Responsibilities
- Perform activities of daily living, vital signs, glucometry, EKG’s, weights and Intake/Output data collection.
- Transport, restock and/or obtain patient care supplies.
- Respond in a timely manner to the needs of patients and family members.
- Take a proactive role in the efficient operation of the unit.
- Function within policies, procedures and guidelines of Sturdy Memorial Hospital in accordance with Joint Commission, CDC and OSHA standards.
- Perform clerical, receptionist and unit coordinating duties on individual patient care units.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Previous knowledge of medical terminology, typing, computer skills and Unit Secretary experience preferred.
- Successful completion of orientation.
- Certification as a nursing assistant required.

- Previous knowledge of medical terminology, typing, computer skills and Unit Secretary experience preferred.

Pay Range
The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value Sturdy Health’s benefits package (if applicable), which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
