Med Surg Clinical Nurse - Part Time

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards. The nurse promotes patient- and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in activities that enhance safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing and communicating individualized care plans, evaluating physical and psychosocial needs, and respecting patient preferences and cultural values. This safety-sensitive role requires alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (Bachelor's preferred)
• No prior experience necessary, but 2 years of experience and a BSN are preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
