Med-Surg Clinical Instructor - Full Time

Role Overview: As a Nursing Faculty member, you will mentor and educate nursing students, utilizing diverse teaching methods, and supporting their development into healthcare professionals. You will contribute to course and curriculum assessment, improve instructional materials, and engage in scholarly activities to foster student success. Key Responsibilities Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and support to students.Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and facilitate student learning outcomes.Apply your expertise to assigned teaching schedules and participate in curriculum assessments.Contribute to the continuous improvement of course materials and syllabi.Use varied teaching methodologies and leverage innovative technologies like Simulation and Innovation Labs.Maintain scholarly activities and participate in professional growth and service.If involved in clinical settings, assume full responsibility for student supervision, clarify expectations, assess student performance, and provide timely feedback to ensure safety and learning. Qualifications & Skills Experience working with online learning management systems.Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience in direct patient care and one year in the teaching field.Master’s degree in nursing and current professional nurse licensure.Knowledge of regulatory standards, including state and federal laws and compliance with nursing board regulations. Additional Details: This role requires working three night shifts per week (5:30 pm - 4:30 am) at clinical partner sites within a 50-mile radius.
