About the role

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Under the general supervision of the Administrative Laboratory Director, you will obtain patient specimens, perform laboratory tests on blood, urine, body fluids, and feces, and report test results according to prescribed laboratory policies and procedures. You may also be responsible for the supervision and operation of the laboratory if requested by the laboratory manager, and perform any other tasks necessary to maintain the proper functioning of the department and the hospital.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associate Degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician in Laboratory Science
• Minimum Experience: Two years’ experience in high complexity testing preferred
• Preferred Certification: Medical Lab Technician (American Society of Clinical Pathology) or equivalent
• Preferred Licensure: Medical Lab Technician (American Society of Clinical Pathology) or equivalent
