About the role

As a Med Lab Scientist 2, you will:

• Perform a full range of laboratory testing and analysis while ensuring compliance with departmental procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality control, quality assurance, safety, and infection control activities to maintain accurate and reliable laboratory operations.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment with minimal supervision.
• Accurately report test results, manage laboratory inventory, and collaborate effectively with laboratory staff, healthcare teams, and external customers.
• Participate in laboratory projects, educational initiatives, and training activities while demonstrating and teaching laboratory principles and technical skills to others.

Responsibilities

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2 years of experience as a Med Lab Scientist 2.
• MLS certification.
• Prior experience with PANTHER, COBAS 5800, BEAKER LIS.
• Previous experience with Urine, Throat, molecular tests.
• Epic experience.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Limited micro; Urine, Throat, molecular.
• Previous experience with PANTHER, COBAS 5800, BEAKER LIS.
• MLS(ASCP).
• Urine culture experience.
• Epic experience.

Weekly Gross = $2600 - $2900 per week
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
