About the role

The Med Aide staff at Fairfield Village are responsible for ensuring residents receive medication as prescribed by their physicians. Medication staff follow resident care plans and physician's orders to ensure resident safety and well-being while complying with all Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. They incorporate Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others. Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive medication as prescribed by physicians.
• Follow resident care plans and physician's orders.
• Ensure resident safety and well-being.
• Comply with all Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation.

Schedule

• Part-time hours from 2 pm to 10 pm, need Saturdays covered
• 8 Hour Shifts
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Med Aide is preferred, but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient
