Mechatronic Technician II

About the role

The Mechatronic Technician II supports maintenance of technical equipment, building systems, and critical support infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and set up mechatronic systems with minimal supervision
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, controls, and building systems, including BAS
• Maintain detailed records of work, parts, and inventory using EAMS
• Train less experienced personnel and support safety and compliance standards
• Assist in diagnosing issues and support continuous process improvements
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure adherence to industry and safety regulations
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and work in various environments, including elevated or extreme temperature areas

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent education; preferably an associate degree or trade certification
• Proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

Moderate noise, physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs, operating equipment, working in elevated or extreme temperatures, and performing repetitive motions. Reasonable accommodations available.
