Mechanical Technician
About the role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Technician to join our team. This role involves monitoring and maintaining all production equipment on the production floor, performing mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting high-performance production equipment, evaluating critical spare parts, and completing necessary corrective and preventive work orders.
Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment logs and documentation in accordance with SOP and cGMP guidelines.
- Completes necessary Corrective and Preventative Work Orders.
- Performs set-ups or changeovers of equipment as necessary for production schedule.
- Works closely with all Maintenance, Operations & Engineering personnel in attaining all production goals and objectives.
- Troubleshoots and repairs high speed filling and packaging equipment in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
- Advises supervision of tools, materials and parts needed to maintain production equipment.
Requirements
- Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to work overtime extended shifts and/or weekends.
- Must be able to train to be gowned qualified and maintain gowning status.
- Must be able to work closely with all Maintenance, Operations & Engineering personnel in attaining all production goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum five (5) years maintenance experience maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed equipment.
- Experience in equipment Corrective Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance and spare part systems.
- Basic math and algebra required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and technical manuals.
- Experience and ability to make precision measurements of parts and production components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong mechanical ability from past experience or testing.
- Ability to comprehend and follow all applicable SOPs/Job Aids.
- Ability to work safely.
- Ability to read, interpret and comprehend written documents such as SOPs/Job Aids.
- Ability to complete required documentation.
- Ability to communicate in written or oral form.
- Accurate record keeping essential.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to interface with factory management, group leaders and various support groups.
Skills
- Technical or industrial trade school desired.
- Experience in troubleshooting cGMPs and machining is a plus.

Pay
Hourly Rate: $30.50 per hour.
Schedule
3rd Shift (Tuesday-Saturday)
