Mechanical Systems Engineer – Electromechanical Design

Role: Principal Mechanical Engineer responsible for leading the design and development of advanced X-ray imaging and detection systems. Responsibilities Own full product lifecycle from concept through manufacturing, including analysis, 3D CAD design, prototyping, and testing.Collaborate closely with electrical, software, and systems engineers to integrate high-voltage, motion, and thermal components into durable, field-ready products.Mentor engineering team members, facilitate design reviews, and drive improvements in design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).Support suppliers and production processes, ensuring product reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance in challenging environments. Qualifications & Skills Expertise in mechanical design, including 3D CAD modeling.Strong understanding of thermal management, high-voltage systems, and motion control integration.Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.Ability to mentor engineers and lead design reviews.Commitment to product quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
