About the role
Support nuclear plant operations at the Byron Clean Energy facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering and technical tasks applying general engineering principles.
- Ensure all engineering products comply with safety analyses, industry codes, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement effective processes and techniques, recommending improvements.
- Support outage activities, emergency response, and departmental coverage as needed.
Requirements
Mid-level
- B.S. in Engineering
- 2+ years nuclear or related experience
- ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 compliance
- Access requirements
Senior-level
- B.S. in Engineering
- 5+ years nuclear or related experience
- ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 compliance
- Access requirements
Preferred Skills
- Degrees in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering
- Engineer in Training Certification
- Experience with raw water systems and nuclear power plants
- Strong understanding of fundamental engineering functions and increasing responsibility
