Mechanical Superintendent - Self Perform
About the role
DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee racking and module installations across multiple utility-scale solar projects nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the mechanical self-perform team, including general foremen and foremen, ensuring safe, high-quality racking and module installation.
- Develop and coach team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Cook up and coordinate tools, equipment, and procurement with internal teams to support efficient project execution.
- Develop and communicate a comprehensive 3-week look-ahead for Mechanical disciplines on the project.
- Maintain schedules, track progress, and implement process improvements to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and operational standards.
- Travel to multiple project sites nationwide, building strong relationships with your team and contributing to DEPCOM’s culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements
- Experience with pile driving, racking installation, and module installation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
- Valid driver's license.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate equipment when necessary.
- Experience with racking systems such as GameChange, ATI, and NextTracker.
- Experience with procurement and labor management tools.
Skills
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Proven ability to manage and improve project timelines and processes.
Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is $110,000 - $135,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, which may be issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.

Schedule
:90% travel with monthly home visits; job location rotates roughly every 6 months
