Mechanical Superintendent (Data Centers)

As a Mechanical Construction Superintendent, you’ll take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities at our data center project in Corpus Christi, TX. You’ll ensure the right materials, equipment, and people are in place to get the job done while prioritizing the safety, health, and well-being of your team and the planet. You’ll leverage your people management skills to guide and inspire your team, fostering collaboration and driving success in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site.
- Collaborate in planning, design, construction, and commissioning.
- Create estimates, client presentations, timelines, staffing plans, project execution plans, and construction documentation.
- Facilitate and coordinate walkdowns, meetings, and reviews with owners and designers.
- Conduct constructability reviews.
- Lead client and construction meetings.
- Manage Union contractors, including Civil, Structural, and Architectural trade contractors.
- Oversee stainless steel process piping, equipment installation, testing, and passivation.
- Serve as a safety leader (JHA’s revision, SPA daily signed-off permits).
- Ensure QA construction and turnover processes, including TOP’s, punch lists, and walkdowns with contractors and owners.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of construction site experience.
- At least 10 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager.
- Experience with stainless steel process piping, equipment installation, testing, and passivation.
- Prior experience managing Union contractors.
- Multidiscipline knowledge (Mechanical, Electrical, IC, CSA).
- Proficiency in software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam.
- Excellent communication skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have data center experience.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $111,100.00 to $152,700.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
Hybrid working policy allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
