The Amazon Robotics Supply Chain team provides strategic sourcing for robotic technologies, ensuring the right suppliers, materials, and logistics to support global fulfillment and transportation solutions. This fast-paced, data-driven team collaborates across Amazon to deliver new products efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional supply chain team to drive supplier and supply chain design, sourcing, logistics, and execution for robotics products from concept to scaled deployment.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for program resources, communicating supply chain decisions, progress, and financial planning while supporting capital approvals.
  • Partner with Robotics leadership to align supply chain strategies with hardware engineering, operations, and program teams on commodity selection, cost tradeoffs, and product development.
  • Define and approve Product-level Supply Chain Strategy documents, including critical components, cost roadmaps, capacity plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop negotiation strategies with sourcing teams to meet business objectives and build sustainable relationships with strategic suppliers.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance, capability development, capacity planning, contracting, risk mitigation, and cost/quality improvements.
  • Collaborate with technical operations, engineering, and program teams on new product introductions to ensure sourcing strategies meet technical, cost, and business goals.
  • Establish mechanisms for communicating forecast and capacity requirements for sustaining and new products.
  • Guide purchasing and planning teams by monitoring supplier performance and addressing supply or quality issues.
  • Align supplier strategies with Robotics goals for sustaining production and new product development.
  • Develop and execute global commodity strategies that align business requirements with supplier capabilities.
  • Maintain monthly supplier scorecards and conduct quarterly executive business reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.
  • Experience in supply chain, commodity, and supplier management in a global sourcing and manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of direct experience sourcing Mechanical Components, including Machined Parts, Stamped Parts, Plastic Parts, and/or Raw Materials.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Management, Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

Pay

Base salary range: $92,400 - $160,000 USD annually for this position in North Reading, MA.
