About the role
The Mechanical Service Account Manager will drive sales activities in assigned accounts or regions, focusing on growth while ensuring quality and consistency in product and service delivery. This role requires a motivated individual to manage client relationships and provide an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify targets and project contact volumes.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity.
- Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
- Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge.
- Establish and maintain client and potential client relationships.
- Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
- Manage account services through quality checks and follow-up.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Communicate new opportunities, developments, or feedback to company staff.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing.
- Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.
Requirements
- Extensive sales experience.
- Commercial mechanical experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach frequently; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Vision abilities including close, distance, depth perception, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
