Mechanical Quality Inspector III (CWI)

Primary Function

Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC is a government contractor focusing on high-mix, low-volume manufacturing. Mechanical Quality Inspectors are responsible for inspecting products for compliance with technical data packages through in-process, finishing, and final inspection phases.

Essential Functions

• Read and interpret complicated drawings, specifications, purchase orders, statement of work, and standards to determine quality status
• Use precision measuring instruments to confirm dimensional compliance
• Perform GD&T measurements to verify the compliance of complex detailed or completed components and/or assemblies of aircraft and/or ground support vehicles
• Determine acceptance or rejection of materials presented for inspection and perform non-conformance reporting
• Perform AS9102 First Article Inspections
• Show good organizational skills and use Microsoft Office software to accurately document and maintain associated paperwork and inspection results in a consistent and timely manner
• Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities for the quality program for both internal and external customers
• Perform other duties as directed by the assigned supervision

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance
• Must have a minimum of ten (10) years quality experience, with a minimum of eight (8) years working with standards, policies, and regulatory requirements (Government and/or Commercial)
• A High School diploma/GED is required
• Prior inspection equipment OEM certification such as Zeiss Calypso is preferred
• Advanced training in finishing inspection of CARC paint systems, MIL-DTL-5541 chemical conversion, anodizing, and plating is preferred
• Familiarity with CNC or other common manufacturing techniques is preferred
• A degree in a technical field from an Associate's level is preferred
