Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of mechanical projects, including documentation, scheduling, procurement, and cost control.
• Conduct change order pricing and negotiate contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient collaboration among team members.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Understand and adhere to corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.
• Manage project budgets and financial reporting, ensuring financial success.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to OSHA-30 certification standards.
• Handle stressful situations in a courteous, professional, and diplomatic manner.
• Continually learn and adapt to new software systems to improve efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project management, preferably in the engineering industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Science, or equivalent levels of technical training and related experience.
• Thorough understanding of construction design, finance, and management.
• OSHA-30 certification.
• Proven experience in managing commercial projects and project budgets.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience in change order pricing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new software systems.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate project teams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to project management.

Pay

$135,000 - $190,000 per year
