Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of mechanical projects, including documentation, scheduling, procurement, and cost control.
- Conduct change order pricing and negotiate contracts to optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient collaboration among team members.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Understand and adhere to corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.
- Manage project budgets and financial reporting, ensuring financial success.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to OSHA-30 certification standards.
- Handle stressful situations in a courteous, professional, and diplomatic manner.
- Continually learn and adapt to new software systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project management, preferably in the engineering industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Science, or equivalent levels of technical training and related experience.
- Thorough understanding of construction design, finance, and management.
- OSHA-30 certification.
- Proven experience in managing commercial projects and project budgets.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience in change order pricing.
- Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new software systems.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate project teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to project management.
Pay
$135,000 - $190,000 per year
