Mechanical Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of all mechanical scope on our data center projects. You will ensure mechanical systems are designed, installed, and commissioned in line with project requirements, schedule, quality, and safety standards. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate interfaces, track progress and costs, resolve technical issues, and support successful commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full mechanical scope, from design through installation and commissioning
• Lead and supervise mechanical subcontractors and site teams
• Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues during construction and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry best practices
• Track progress, performance, and costs for the mechanical scope
• Support commissioning, testing, and final handover
• Enforce safety standards and support a smooth handover of mechanical systems

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical project or package management on large-scale construction projects
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems used in data center or complex building projects
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and regulations
• Experience with project management and construction software
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Effective leader, detail-oriented, and confident managing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communicator who prioritizes effectively and stays calm under pressure
• Fluent in English
