Position Summary
Fives Cinetic is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for Fluid Fill projects based in Farmington Hills, MI. This role is part of a talented team that works on automated manufacturing systems.
Job Summary / Objective
The Mechanical Project Engineer develops the initial engineering/design plan for Fluid Fill projects, manages the project's engineering from proposal to field installation, and leads the mechanical engineering team on multiple projects simultaneously. They must have previous Fluid Fill Equipment experience and possess strong leadership skills in an engineering capacity.
Main Tasks / Responsibilities
- Fulfilling Customer Specifications for projects
- Delivering mechanical engineering within project scope definition
- Delivering mechanical engineering within budget
- Delivering mechanical engineering within schedule
- Delivering mechanical engineering within FCC’s quality expectations
- Leading the mechanical engineering team on various projects simultaneously
- Effective technical communication with customers
Education, Training and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.M.E.) from four-year College or university
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent computer skills (i.e., MS Office, ACAD, Windows)
- 3 to 5 years in an engineering leadership position
