Mechanical Process Piping Estimator
Responsibilities
- Develop budget estimates by performing accurate quantity takeoffs using plans, specifications, or conceptual information.
- Review, interpret, and accurately estimate the scope of assigned work as described in the project documents.
- Apply unit costs and productivity rates as provided by the supervisor.
- Nurture subcontractor and client relationships.
- Prepare subcontractor analysis sheets for the assigned scope of work.
- Evaluate changes and subcontractor change order estimates.
- Provide expertise in all phases of construction work.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Process Piping or MEP, ideally within semiconductor construction.
- Proven estimating experience in high-tech construction.
- Advanced skill level with Excel and strong proficiency in Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
- Intermediate knowledge of On Screen Takeoff estimating software and Success Estimating Software is a plus.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and collaborate efficiently.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of IPD/lean construction methodology and tools.
- Experience with fast-paced, high-volume commercial construction projects.
Skills
- Advanced skill level with Excel and strong proficiency in Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.

About the Role
This role involves using Excel for pricing and takeoffs, typically done in BlueBeam or 3D modeling, to handle heavy process piping scopes. The position is hybrid, based in Chandler, AZ, with approximately three days a week spent onsite at the Intel campus. The role also offers 40 hours of PTO, 8 paid holidays, 401k, and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
