Key Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of a senior engineer to support project execution
- Perform calculations and design mechanical equipment and piping systems, including:
- Conveyors
- Chutes, hoppers, bins, and tanks
- Dust collection systems
- Process and mechanical equipment
- Industrial piping systems and layouts
- Develop piping layouts, routing, and support designs in coordination with other disciplines
- Prepare specifications and assist with analysis and procurement of materials, piping, and equipment
- Maintain and update equipment and line lists
- Cookordinate with other engineering disciplines and departments to meet project goals
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience (mechanical and/or piping)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software (Inventor, Revit, or similar)
- Experience with piping design, layouts, and isometrics preferred
- Able to travel domestically and internationally to support project sites and other M3 offices
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Able to manage schedules and work effectively in a team environment with limited supervision
- Professional communication skills with clients and colleagues
- Valid passport or ability to obtain one
- Experience in material handling and industrial piping systems
- Experience serving as a discipline lead on multidisciplinary design and construction projects
