Mechanical Lead

As a Mechanical Lead for EEI’s Mission Critical team, you will lead mechanical commissioning execution for data centers and other high-reliability facilities. You will work with project leadership, clients, contractors, vendors, and internal technical teams to help ensure mechanical systems are installed, tested, documented, and operating in alignment with project requirements and client expectations. In this role, you will provide discipline-level technical leadership, guide complex field execution, drive issue resolution, and support team development across assigned projects. This position is ideal for an experienced mechanical commissioning leader who enjoys leading people and projects, solving complex technical challenges, and building trusted client relationships in mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical commissioning execution for systems supporting mission-critical facilities and data centers.
- Oversee field execution, functional performance testing, integrated testing support, and closeout activities across assigned scopes or projects.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex mechanical system issues and drive practical resolution with project stakeholders.
- Align commissioning activities with project scope, schedule, client expectations, and EEI quality standards.
- Communicate project status, technical findings, risks, recommendations, and follow-up needs with clients and project teams.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and prioritization support for Mechanical Support, Mechanical Specialists, and Sr. Mechanical Specialists.
- Help strengthen safe, consistent, and high-quality commissioning practices across the mechanical discipline.
