Mechanical Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to technicians and engineers
• Act as technical expert for cooling systems, HVAC systems, hot water systems, compressed air system, process vacuum, and scrubbing systems
• Maintain equipment in respective systems, including coordination with contractors
• Review and ensure preventative maintenance is completed to spec and to planned schedule
• Lead process changes through process control board as needed
• Perform root cause analysis on incidents
• Manage complex capital and expense projects, from concept to scope to timeline delivery and commissioning
• Initiate and drive continuous improvements, strive for impact
• Uphold area upkeep and 5S principles
• Adhere to environmental health and safety policies
• Collaborate cross departmentally, escalate as required
• Maintain detailed records and reports

Requirements

• 4 Year Technical degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline
• 5-8 years of work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to at times work in a cleanroom environment
• Ability to work in a manufacturing setting that includes bending or crouching

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Desired: Proficiency in AutoCAD
