Mechanical Engineering Scholar (Phd) | $65/hr Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Review AI training problems and research environments built for a frontier AI lab.
• Assess whether problems are scientifically realistic, well-designed, and correctly graded.
• Check whether the grading logic and expected outputs are appropriate.
• Identify issues in problem design, assumptions, or evaluation quality.
• Provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
• Write clear and structured review comments.

Requirements

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to start immediately.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering concepts.
• Expertise or knowledge of Python.
• Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Reliable desktop/laptop with stable internet connection.
• Availability to work around 15 hours over the next few days.
• 4 hours overlap with PST.
