Imagine a day where you lead a dynamic team, balancing priorities, ensuring quality, and meeting deadlines while driving project success. You’re the key liaison, approving designs, mentoring engineers, and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams with a positive attitude to achieve project goals aligned with ENERCON's excellence standards
  • Interface with clients to ensure quality and deadlines on exciting design projects
  • Lead internal mechanical engineering and delegate project roles
  • Prepare design studies, scopes, and engineering estimates
  • Guide mechanical system procurement specs, evaluate bids, and select equipment
  • Guide mechanical design and calculations to solve complex technical problems
  • Travel for walkdowns, field installations, and start-up (up to 10% of the time; duration may vary depending on project needs, typically a few days)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in design engineering in power generation, nuclear power, or heavy industrial with preference for 2 of those years of experience as a leader
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable codes and standards
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate the team and achieve goals through a positive attitude and effective leadership style
  • Proven experience with a high level of decision making, directing, and overseeing routine and advanced technical work performed by others
  • Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant
  • Must be a US Citizen

Pay

Compensation range: USD $120,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
